Indie Awards 2016 longlists announced

Leading Edge Books has announced the longlists for the 2016 Indie Awards.

This is the first time the Indie Awards has released a longlist. The 2016 awards also include an additional young adult category. Previously, young adult titles were included in the children’s category.

The longlisted titles were nominated by Leading Edge Books members from around the country.

The shortlist will be announced on 19 January and the category winners and Book of the Year will be announced at an awards ceremony in Sydney on 22 March.
