New podcast on Australian kids’ books launches

A new fortnightly podcast about Australian children’s books has launched.

One More Page focuses on Australian picture books through to middle-grade titles, and includes interviews, book reviews and competitions. Creators, producers and hosts Kate Simpson, Liz Ledden and Nat Amoore describe One More Page as ‘essentially a bookish fan club for anyone with an interest in kids’ books’.

Aimed at all ages, the podcast also features a ‘kid-centric’ segment, where kids are invited to talk about books they love, interview authors and act out their favourite books.

The first episode was released on 6 February 2018 and features an interview with Quarks’ Academy (Hachette) author Catherine Pelosi, as well as a kid-led interview with Heidi McKinnon about her picture book I Just Ate My Friend (A&U).
