Adelaide to host Jaipur Literature Festival
Adelaide’s OzAsia Festival has announced it has partnered with the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) to host JLF Adelaide, which will run a number of events from 9-11 November.
More than 50 writers and thinkers will visit Adelaide for the festival, including Indian author Shobhaa De, and travel writer and festival founder William Dalrymple.
Adelaide Festival Centre CEO Douglas Gauiter said in a statement the event is a coup for the city. ‘The completely free JLF program will give audiences the opportunity to surround themselves with some of the best literary minds from around the world,’ said Gauiter.
In addition to Adelaide, the festival will also visit Boulder, Houston and New York City in the US and London in the UK this year. JLF previously partnered with Melbourne Writers Festival to present JLF Melbourne in 2017.
The full JLF Adelaide program will be released in September. For more information, click here.
