Dymocks returns to Midland Gate in Perth

Dymocks has opened a new store in outer Perth shopping centre Midland Gate.

Officially opened on 23 August, the store marks Dymocks’ return to Midland after the retailer closed its previous Midland store in February 2016 due to being unable to reach a commercial agreement on the lease.

New features at the store include digital display screens and signage, and the use of timber cladding on the storefront. Dymocks says that 20% of floor space will be allocated to non-book products, with a strong emphasis on gifts, cards, wrap and stationery.

Dymocks now has a network of 11 stores in Western Australia. The new store is one of two company stores in the state, with the other nine stores locally owned and operated by franchisees.

The new shop is located at Shop T118 Midland Gate Shopping Centre, Great Eastern Highway, Midland.
