Egan announced as incoming ABA CEO
The Australian Booksellers Association (ABA) has announced Robbie Egan as incoming CEO, beginning in early December 2018.
Currently the group operations manager at Readings, Egan has been treasurer and a board member of the ABA for the past 15 months, with a long career in bookselling.
Egan takes over from current ABA CEO Joel Becker, who announced he would step down from the position at this year’s ABA conference in June.
‘As the current group operations manager for Readings, the iconic Melbourne bookstore, and with a lifelong career in bookselling at the highest levels, Robbie brings a wealth of practical experience and achievement to the role,’ said the ABA in a statement.
