Editors NSW: Basic copyright and copyright issues
Editors NSW is running a workshop with Olivia Lanchester, Legal Services Manager at the Australian Society of Authors (ASA), who will talk through the basics of copyright and the copyright issues which commonly come up for editors.
Olivia will also briefly discuss the rise of self-publishing and some of the consequential demands being placed on editors.
Lastly, she will discuss how new methods of distribution and accessibility are changing the conversation around copyright and will update you on the copyright modernisation consultation process currently being conducted by Government.
