LEB to hold 2020 conference in Brisbane

Leading Edge Books (LEB) will hold its annual conference on 22–24 March at the Sofitel Brisbane Central.

The conference program for Sunday, 22 March includes member forums, a keynote presentation, and supplier sessions and presentations. On the Monday, author speed dating and ‘members share best ideas’ sessions will be held in the morning, prior to the supplier trade show that afternoon.

The awards dinner on the Monday night will include the presentation of Bookseller of the Year (Metro and Regional) awards, the announcement of the Publisher of the Year and Small Publisher of the Year awards, and the announcement of the 2019 Indie Books Awards for the best Australian books of 2018.

Tuesday’s program, which concludes at lunchtime, will include other forums and supplier and author presentations, including the conference’s ‘surprise guest’.
