IPEd announces shortlist for 2021 Rosie Award

The Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd) has announced the shortlist for the 2021 Rosanne Fitzgibbon Editorial Award, also known as the ‘Rosie’.

The shortlisted editors are:

  • Johannes Jakob, for his work on The Bluffs (Kyle Perry, Michael Joseph)
  • Linda Nix, for her work on Australian Law in Context (Ciprian Radavoi & Stephen Norris, Lexis Nexis).

The winner will win a $4000 cash prize.

The Rosie is a biennial award honouring the editorial contribution of Fitzgibbon, and rewards editorial excellence based on the quality of the finished work and submissions from the editor, author and publisher about the editorial process and the editor’s work.

The 2019 winner was Julia Carlomagno, for her work on Adult Fantasy (Briohny Doyle, Scribe).

The 2021 winner will be announced online at 6pm on Wednesday, 23 June ahead of the 10th IPEd Conference, which will run online from 28–30 June.
