Education Resource Consultant—School term time (West/Inner West)

Cambridge University Press and Assessment is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our secondary sales team, who will sell and promote our print and digital resources to the secondary education market in NSW.

The Role

Cambridge University Press and Assessment is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our secondary sales team, who will sell and promote our print and digital resources to the secondary education market in NSW.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the position is 5 days per week during school term time, which means most school holidays are free.

Ideally, we are looking for a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, proven sales skills and the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders. Applicants must be self-motivated and have extraordinary problem-solving skills.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have sales experience and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. Presenting digital resources is a key component of this role, so you will have advanced technical and presentation skills. You will be highly motivated, have the ability to work autonomously and be enthusiastic about promoting quality educational resources. Experience within the bookselling industry or school environment will be viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

  • Sell to secondary schools in the inner west and western NSW
  • Attend faculty and workshop presentations, schools displays, appointments with teachers and conferences
  • Develop relationships with education suppliers, institutions and schools and provide a high standard of customer service
  • Demonstrate Cambridge Resources to schools and key stakeholders and maintain a strong level of product knowledge
  • Maintain and grow our existing customer base
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date territory information using our CRM system, Salesforce.
  • Develop leads and marketing strategies through extensive research and cold calling
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure goals and targets are met.
