Levens resigns as Booktopia CFO
Booktopia chief financial officer (CFO) Fiona Levens has resigned from the company, effective 15 May.
In a statement, Booktopia CEO David Nenke acknowledged Levens’ ‘strong leadership during her time with the company’. ‘Fiona has made an outstanding contribution to the company over the last eleven years and in particular in her role as CFO over the last couple of years,’ said Nenke. ‘We wish her well for the future.’
Levens was appointed to the role in August 2022. Booktopia said it will begin the process to appoint a new CFO.
As previously reported by Books+Publishing, Booktopia had reported its revenue was down 21% year-on-year in the six months to 31 December, with an underlying EBITDA loss of $1.8 million.
