New Tasmanian literary journal launched

Tasmania-based Walleah Press publisher Ralph Wessman and writer Jane Williams have launched a new online-only literary journal. The first issue of Communion is online now and features poetry, fiction, essays, an interview with poet Nathan Curnow, and Philomena van Rijswijk’s speech from the launch of Kathryn Lomer’s poetry collection Night Writing UQP). Wessman told Books+Publishing the journal would be published twice a year around June and December. See the journal online here.
