Lisa Genova is the author of Still Alice and Inside the O’Briens (S&S), which examines the effect Huntington’s disease on an Irish-Catholic family in the US. She is travelling to Sydney, Perth Writers Festival and Adelaide Writers’ Week in February.

What was the defining book of your childhood?
I wasn’t a reader as a young child. I spent my childhood outdoors. In high school, I fell in love with Shakespeare.

I’m kind of partial to Still Alice. 🙂
