Noted Festival 2016 program announced

The program for Canberra’s second Noted ‘experimental’ writing festival, running from 16-20 March, has been announced.

The festival program includes a literary bar hop, multi-art collaborations, and online and live events featuring more than 60 writers, artists and publishers.

A professional development stream includes workshops on publishing, writing for children, horror writing, cryptic crosswords, podcasting and ethical fiction.

The festival is also running an independent publishing fair with more than 50 small publishers and other vendors selling zines, magazines, books, comics and other publications and artwork. Participating publishers Writer’s Edit Press, Spineless Wonders and Seizure.

Noted is an offshoot of Canberra’s experimental arts festival You Are Here. The inaugural Noted festival was held in March last year.
