Ferguson appointed PANZ director

New Zealand Book Council CEO Catriona Ferguson has been appointed as Publishing Association of New Zealand (PANZ) director.

Ferguson replaces outgoing director Anne de Lautour, who is stepping down from the position in March after almost 10 years in the role. ‘So much PANZ activity is now grant dependent, and Catriona’s superior knowledge in this area made her especially stand-out,’ said PANZ president Melanie Laville-Moore.

‘But equally so her absolute professionalism, her calm and measured working manner and her clear administration and advocacy skills. We have no doubts that she will be a huge asset to the Association, and will serve all our members’ interests very well.’
