Fox, Spicer nominated for Walkley’s Women’s Leadership in Media Award
Catherine Fox and Tracey Spicer have been selected as finalists for the Walkley Foundation’s Women’s Leadership in Media Award.
Fox was cited for her nonfiction book Stop Fixing Women (NewSouth), as well as articles for the ABC and the Australian.
Spicer was cited for her nonfiction book The Good Girl Stripped Bare (HarperCollins), as well as articles for the Sydney Morning Herald and Women in Media.

The winner will be announced at the Walkley Mid-Year Awards Celebration in Sydney on 26 July.
As previously reported by Books+Publishing, last year author and freelance journalist Jess Hill won the inaugural Women’s Leadership in Media Award for her long-form reporting on domestic violence.
