New $1.27m Creative Victoria ‘Creator’s Fund’ to offer grants to artists, organisations

Creative Victoria has announced a new Creators Fund, which will offer grants of between $20,000-$50,000 to support individuals and creative collectives during the research and development phase of their projects.

A total of $1.27m will be awarded over the next two years. Recipients will receive funding for a three-to-six month period, with the aim of providing artists with ‘the time to experiment and lay the groundwork for innovation’.

Recipients will also have the opportunity to participate in an information-sharing and networking program with other recipients and potential partners.
