Nonfiction—Allen & Unwin has sold world English-language (ex-ANZ) rights to Fight Like a Girl (Clementine Ford) to OneWorld Publications; Korean rights to The Mekong: Second Edition (Milton Osborne) to Zinizin Co Ltd; and Romanian rights to The First Six Weeks (Midwife Cath) to Editura Humanitas.

Children’s—Allen & Unwin has sold Korean rights to Small Things (Mel Tregonning); Korean and French rights to I Just Ate My Friend (Heidi McKinnon); and Spanish and bilingual simplified Chinese-language and English-language rights to Tashi books 1-16 (Anna Fienberg, Barbara Fienberg & Kim Gamble). Hardie Grant Egmont has sold French rights to PONK! (Edwina Wyatt, illus by Christopher Nielsen); Spanish rights to four titles in the ‘Hey Jack!’ series (all by Sally Rippin); Dutch rights to two titles in ‘The Witching Hours’ series (The Vampire Knife and The Troll Heart, all by Jack Henseleit); simplified Chinese-language rights to The Second Sky (Patrick Guest, illus by Jonathan Bentley); simplified Chinese-language rights to Too Busy Sleeping (Zanni Louise, illus by Anna Pignataro); and Korean rights to Enough Apples (Kim Kane, illus by Lucia Masciullo). Scholastic has sold Czech rights to This is My Song (Richard Yaxley); Swedish rights to Tiny Timmy Makes the Grade (Tim Cahill, illus by Heath McKenzie); Norwegian rights to Dinosaur Rescue: Spino-Rottysaurus (Kyle Mewburn & Donovan Bixley); Spanish rights to I Need a Hug (Aaron Blabey); and simplified Chinese-language rights to Some Mums and Some Dads (Nick Bland).

Acquisitions

Children’s—Allen & Unwin has acquired world rights to Zelda Stitch Term Two: Too Much Witch (Nicki Greenberg); world rights to Dry Running (Bren McDibble); and world rights to A Cat Called Trim (Corinne Fenton, illus by Craig Smith).
