RiP William Styron

American author William Styron has died at the age of 81. Styron was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1968 for The Confessions of Nat Turner (Vintage), but was best known for his novel Sophie's Choice (Vintage), which was made into a film in 1982 starring Meryl Streep.
