UK ereader and tablet ownership predicted to increase by 70% this year

In the UK, analyst Richard Broughton of IHS Screen Digest has predicted that the number of tablets and ereaders in the country will jump from an estimated seven million in 2011 (around 10% penetration of the population) to 12 million this year, reports the Bookseller.
