‘419’ wins Scotiabank Giller Prize

The novel 419 by Will Ferguson (Penguin) has won the C$50,000 (A$48,000) Scotiabank Giller Prize. Ferguson’s novel was chosen by judges Roddy Doyle, Gary Shteyngart and Anna Porter from a longlist of 13, which were in turn chosen from 142 submissions.
