NZ poet wins second place in international poetry competition

New Zealand poet and fiction writer Sue Wootton has won second place in the 2013 Open International Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine for her poem ‘Wild’, which reflects on a friend’s cancer treatment. Wootton shares the prize, worth £1000 (A$1570), with UK poet Matthew Barton and US war veteran Liam Corley....
