  • A World of Other People (Steven Carroll, Fourth Estate)
  • Sisters of Spicefield (Fran Cusworth, Vintage)
  • Love With a Chance of Drowning: A Memoir (Torre DeRoche, Viking)
  • The Memory Trap (Andrea Goldsmith, Fourth Estate)
  • Blood Witness (Alex Hammond, Michael Joseph)
  • Night Games: Sex, Power and Sport (Anna Krien, Black Inc.)
  • Is it Just Me? Confessions of an Over-Sharer (Chrissie Swan, Nero)
  • Father Bob: The Larrikin Priest (Sue Williams, Penguin)
  • The Swan Book (Alexis Wright, Giramondo).

The Summer Read runs from 18 December to 16 February 2014, with the SLV and a range of metropolitan and regional library services running special events throughout the campaign, as well as a book giveaway.
