Thompson appointed MD of Penguin Random House NZ, Ferns to depart

Penguin Random House has appointed Margaret Thompson to the newly created position of managing director of Penguin Random House New Zealand. Thompson was previously managing director of Penguin New Zealand. Karen Ferns, joint managing director of Random House Australia and New Zealand, is leaving the company. (See news.)
