Frankfurt sends delegates to gamescon in Cologne

Frankfurt Book Fair’s (FBF) StoryDrive conference will send delegates to the computer-game trade fair gamescon in Cologne in August, FBF said in a statement. Ten representatives of international publishing houses and literary agencies will travel to gamescon to promote cross-media titles, intellectual property and the licensing of book characters, while networking events will bring together representatives from the gaming and publishing industries. ‘With this cooperation we’re offering publishers a chance to familiarise themselves at first hand with what is perhaps the most innovative and successful media industry today,’ said FBF director events and programmes Britta Friedrich. ‘Those taking part can establish personal contacts with international decision-makers in the industry and exchange ideas for possible joint projects.’
