NZ book wins international design award

Flatmate’s Handbook by New Zealand graphic design student Lauren Earl has won the Red Dot Design Concept Award, announced in Singapore on 27 September. Published by Awa Press in November 2013 under the title Flatter’s Survival Guide, the book combines ‘witty photographs and drawings with sage advice for flatters’. The international Red Dot awards are presented annually for products that show exceptional design qualities and innovation. For more information about the awards, visit the website here.
