Faber launches London pop-up shop

In the UK, Faber will host a pop-up shop in London in the lead-up to Christmas, reports the Bookseller. The shop, run by Faber’s publishing and events arm Faber Social, will be hosted at the Natalie Galustian Rare Books store in Cecil Court. It will sell around 80 Faber titles, as well as signed and limited edition books, and will host author events and art exhibitions. Faber Social creative director Lee Brackstone said the pop-up store will allow the publisher to ‘express ourselves directly on the high street’. ‘We do it through our events, but to do it through the high street—and in Cecil Court, the home of bookshops—is an incredible thing.’ Shop owner Natalie Galustian said that ‘curating a dedicated space for one publisher at a time feels like a new and innovative way for independent publishers and booksellers to collaborate’. The shop opens on 8 October and runs until Christmas.
