Tranter launches poetry research journal
Poet John Tranter has launched an online poetry research journal. The Journal of Poetics Research (JPR) will publish research articles, book reviews, interviews and some creative writing, and will be ‘generally peer-reviewed’. According to the journal, ‘Poems and books of poetry are not part of JPR’s remit, though anthologies and collections may be reviewed and writers we ask to send in poems will be published from time to time.’ JPR’s managing editors are Tranter, Kate Lilley, Ann Vickery and Philip Mead. The first issue will be published in late 2014 and the second issue in March 2015. Each issue will include some free content. For more information about the journal, visit the website here.
