Penguin Random House creates new PR director role for UK children’s division

In the UK, Penguin Random House has announced it will create a new PR director role for the children’s division, following the departure of Adele Minchin. The Bookseller reports that the new PR director role will oversee PR ‘across the division, which was created earlier this year, leading campaigns across both Penguin and Random House’. Penguin Random House will also recruit a PR manager to focus on Penguin primary and teen authors and brands. Minchin is leaving Penguin after 14 years to join Riot Communications as associate director.
