Behind the clichés: Honey Brown on ‘Six Degrees’
Wednesday, 8 July 2015 Books+Publishing @booksandpublishing
Honey Brown’s short-story collection Six Degrees (Ventura Press, August) explores romance and sex in rural Australia, and is a departure from the author’s previous books in terms of genre and length. In a Q&A with reviewer Kat Mayo, Brown said she hopes ‘realism is a common element’ in all of her books. ‘I’d love for readers to easily imagine having the sort of sex I write about in Six Degrees, just as I’d like the readers of my thriller novels to picture themselves in those much tougher circumstances.’ Read the full Q&A here.
