Co-op launches book podcast
The Co-op has launched a book podcast featuring conversations with authors and publishers.
The Co-Op Book Podcast, which is hosted by interviewer Rob Kaldor, has broadcast six episodes since it launched on 26 August, with guests so far including Stephanie Bishop, Jane Caro, Bruce McCabe, Richard Glover, Jessica Sepel and Rosie Waterland.
Co-op CEO Peter Knock said the podcast is ‘a massive step for the Co-op’s general books category’. ‘Unique content that’s engaging, informative and entertaining is what people want these days, and that’s exactly what the podcast is delivering,’ said Knock. ‘But the thing that makes the Co-op Book Podcast really unique is the fact that the authors being interviewed don’t just discuss their books; they also offer their thoughts and advice on university and student life, something so relevant to our audience.’
The podcast, which is produced in partnership with eTales Consulting, is available on the iTunes store and on Soundcloud.
