Nebula Awards 2015 winners announced
In the US, the winners of the 2015 Nebula Awards, presented in 2016, have been announced. Uprooted (Naomi Novik, Tor) won in the novel category, Binti (Nnedi Okorafor, Tor.com) won in the novella category, ‘Our Lady of the Open Road’ (Sarah Pinsker, Asimov’s 6/15) won for best novelette and ‘Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers’ (Alyssa Wong, Nightmare 10/15) won for short story. The Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy was presented to Updraft (Fran Wilde, Tor) and the winner of the Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation was the feature film Mad Max: Fury Road. The Nebula Awards are presented by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), whose members vote on the winners. For more information on the awards, click here.
