Twentieth Century Fox options rights to ‘Nevermoor’

Twentieth Century Fox has optioned the film rights to Australian author Jessica Townsend’s forthcoming middle-grade novel Nevermoor, the first book in a trilogy acquired by Hachette US, UK and Australia in October.

The deal was made by Paradigm, acting on behalf of the Bent Agency.

The book, which was the subject of an eight-publisher auction at Frankfurt Book Fair, tells the ‘magical story about a girl who has to complete “near-impossible” trials to earn her place in the city of Nevermoor’.
