Editor Jessica Alice has joined the Melbourne Writers Festival (MWF) as the festival’s program manager.

Alice replaces former program manager Jo Case, who has moved into the role of schools’ program executive.

Alice is currently the chair of the Kat Muscat Fellowship Custodial Committee and interviews editor of literary journal Scum. She has previously held roles as director of the National Young Writers’ Festival in 2014-15, books editor of Lip Magazine and marketing and publicity manager with Regional Arts Victoria.

MWF also announced three other appointments, with film producer and Lean Filmmaking cofounder Kylie Eddy joining as marketing and development manager; writer and theatre director Laura Hartnell as festival administrator; and writer, editor and academic Jasmeet Sahi as a program producer.
