ABA Booksellers of the Year 2017 finalists announced

The finalists for the 2017 Australian Booksellers Association (ABA) Booksellers of the Year awards have been announced.
The finalists for the Bookseller of the Year are:
- Nadine Allan (Better Read Than Dead)
- Leanne Hall (Readings)
- Rebecca Hutcheson (Avenue Bookstore)
- John Purcell (Booktopia)
- Joanna Rogers (Torquay Books)
- Catherine Schulz (Fullers Bookshop)
The finalists for the Young Bookseller of the Year are:
- Stephanie Beck (Better Read Than Dead)
- Stella Charls (Readings)
- Sarah Deasy (Avid Reader)
- Fiona Hardy (Readings)
- Tim Jarvis (Fullers Bookshop)
- Ella Sharp (The Younger Sun).
The winners will be announced in Melbourne on 18 June during this year’s ABA Conference.
In 2016, Deb Force from The Sun Bookshop in Melbourne and Anna Low from Potts Point Bookshop in Sydney tied for Bookseller of the Year, and Amelia Lush from Better Read Than Dead in Sydney was named Young Bookseller of the Year.
