Bonnier UK romance imprint Totally Entwined launches online store, self-publishing platform

In the UK, Bonnier Publishing’s romance imprint Totally Entwined has launched an online store and self-publishing platform called First for Romance, reports the Bookseller.

The store will sell titles from multiple publishers and offer retail promotions including a loyalty program. The publishers’ portal can upload titles to the store and offer real-time reporting and monthly payments, as well as services such as editing, cover art, formatting, typesetting and manuscript conversion.

The self-publishing platform will also offer marketing and sales support to independent romance authors. Authors will receive up to 60% of the sale price of an ebook; 50% of the sale price of a print book; and 40% of the sale price of an audiobook.

Totally Entwined Group CEO Claire Siemaszkiewicz said the publisher’s background as ‘the first ebook publisher in Europe and having 10 years’ experience in publishing romance ebooks stands us in good stead for this exciting new venture’.

The Totally Entwined Group was founded in 2006 and was bought by Bonnier in 2015.
