Penguin Random House will publish the autobiography of retiring AFL player Luke Hodge on 30 October.
Luke Hodge: The General will ‘explain his own transformation’ and that of the Hawthorn Football Club, which he captained to three premierships, giving ‘unique insight into the incredibly successful era he has been part of under renowned coach Alistair Clarkson’.
Publisher Ali Watts said Hodge is ‘one of the greatest leaders the AFL has ever seen, and one of the biggest names in Australian sport’. ‘We are very proud to be working with Luke Hodge and to bring his remarkable story to the widest possible audience,’ Watts said.
