Tynan wins CHASS Australia Book Prize 2017 for ‘Atomic Thunder’

Elizabeth Tynan has won the Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences’ (CHASS) 2017 Australia Book Prize, for her book Atomic Thunder: The Maralinga Story (NewSouth).
Tynan’s book was chosen from a shortlist of four. She was announced as the winner at the 2017 CHASS Australia Prizes Dinner on 10 October in Melbourne
The $3500 prize is part of the CHASS Australia Prizes program, which aims to draw international attention to Australia’s achievements in the humanities, arts and social sciences.
