Regional WA library launches free online movie-streaming service

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in regional WA has launched a free online movie-streaming service, for members of the William Grundt Memorial Library.

Library members can access more than 30,000 films through streaming platform Kanopy, with suppliers including the ABC, the BBC, the Criterion Collection and independent filmmakers. There’s a limit of four films or documentaries within a one-month loan period, and films can be watched on smart devices, laptops and computers at home.

Over 140 users have visited the service since it was introduced in late December.
