WritingWA: WA Premier’s Book Awards forum

WritingWA is hosting a two-day forum to provide Western Australian sector practitioners with an opportunity to discuss current trends, issues and opportunities.

Included in the program is a session with Colin Walker, Executive Director of Culture and the Arts, who will provide an update on the state government’s implementation of the nine recommendations arising from its Writing Sector Review—including the recommendation to reinstate the WA Premier’s Book Awards on an annual basis.

The full two-day program runs from Tuesday 10 to Wednesday 11 July. The session with Colin Walker will be scheduled for 11.55am to 12.40pm on the Tuesday.
