ABA announces 2019 conference dates

The Australian Booksellers Association (ABA) will hold its 2019 conference and trade show in Melbourne at Pullman Melbourne on the Park on 23-24 June.

ABA CEO Joel Becker said, ‘We’re excited about the location, venue and the attractive, accessible spaces it provides for sessions, exhibitions and socialising. It’s a short walk to the CBD, with trams and trains next to the hotel, and close to Melbourne’s extensive sporting and entertainment precinct.’

Becker added: ‘Now that the venue and dates are finalised, we’re working on producing a great program, trade exhibition and celebratory conference dinner.’

As previously reported by Books+Publishing, close to 300 booksellers, exhibitors and guest speakers attended the 2018 ABA conference and trade show, which was held in Canberra from 17-18 June.
