Grills wins ‘Lifted Brow’ Prize for Experimental Nonfiction

Literary journal the Lifted Brow has selected Eloise Grills as the winner of its 2018 Prize for Experimental Nonfiction for her piece ‘big beautiful female theory’.
Grills receives $5000 and her winning piece, which was chosen from a shortlist of nine, will be published in the forthcoming issue of the Lifted Brow.
The winner was chosen by a panel comprising Nadja Spiegelman, Ander Monson and Ellena Savage, who also awarded first runner-up to Cassandra Rockwood-Rice and shared second runner-up to Jessie Berry-Porter and Bella Klaver. The runners-up receive $500.
