Entries are now open for the $15,000 Daisy Utemorrah Award for an unpublished manuscript of junior or YA fiction.
Honouring the late Ngarinyin Wunambal Elder and author Daisy Utemorrah, this award is open to both emerging and published Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers. The award is run by Magabala Books in partnership with the Western Australian government, and the winner will be announced at the WA Premier’s Book Awards in July.
