Four ANZ publishers nominated for Bologna Prize

Four Australian and New Zealand publishers have been nominated for the Bologna Prize for Best Children’s Publisher of the Year in the Oceania category.

The shortlisted publishers are Scribble Kids’ Books, Scholastic and EK Books in Australia, and Oratia Media in New Zealand.

Awards are presented to publishers in six geographic regions, recognising originality, professional skill and the intellectual quality of the work produced. The winners will be announced at the Bologna Book Fair on 1 April, and a selection of titles from all shortlisted publishers will appear in a dedicated showcase.

New Zealand publisher OneTree House won last year’s Bologna Prize in the Oceania category.

To see the publishers nominated in each category, see the Bologna Book Fair website.
