Editors NSW: Grammar workshop
Editors NSW is running a workshop on grammar with Tony Spencer-Smith.
The workshop will cover the basics of parts of speech through to the tricky aspects of misplaced modifiers and inappropriate shifts in tense. The presentation will look at how punctuation works to guide the flow for the reader and is suitable for early-career editors who are building confidence in their skills, and more experienced editors seeking to brush up on the basics. Spencer-Smith is a professional corporate editor and writer, an award-winning novelist and a former editor-in-chief of Reader’s Digest magazine.
