Editors NSW: Copyright and copyright issues presentation

Editors NSW is running a presentation on the basics of copyright and common copyright issues in publishing, presented by Australian Society of Authors (ASA) legal services manager Olivia Lanchester.

Topics include: what you should be alert to; who is responsible for obtaining copyright permissions; when is permission necessary; and how you get it. Olivia will also briefly discuss the rise of self-publishing and some of the consequential demands of that. Lastly, she will discuss new initiatives in accessible publishing, increasing the availability of publications for the print disabled.
