Finalists for 2019 Walkley-Pascall Prize for arts criticism announced

The Walkley Foundation has announced the finalists for the 2019 Walkley-Pascall Prize for arts criticism, as part of its Mid-Year Celebration.
The finalists are:
- Rosemary Neill for ‘Shooting stars: exposing Hollywood’s hypocrisy over guns’ (Weekend Australian)
- Jeff Sparrow for ‘A Place of Punishment: No Friend But the Mountains by Behrouz Boochani’ (Sydney Review of Books)
- Fiona Wright for ‘To be a Tulip: The Recovering by Leslie Jamison’ (Sydney Review of Books).
