Environment Award for Children’s Literature 2019 winners announced

The Wilderness Society has announced the winners of the 2019 Environment Award for Children’s Literature.
The winners are:
Picture fiction
- The All New Must Have Orange 430 (Michael Speechley, Viking)
Fiction
- Maxi the Lifeguard: The Stormy Protest (Trent Maxwell & David Lawrence, illus by Peter Baldwin, Affirm)
Nonfiction
- Bouncing Back: An Eastern Barred Bandicoot Story (Rohan Cleave & Coral Tulloch, CSIRO Publishing).
Chosen from shortlists announced in August, the winners were announced at the Hobart Writers Festival.
