PANZ International Conference postponed until September

The Publishers Association of New Zealand (PANZ) has postponed the PANZ International Conference, initially scheduled for 30 April–1 May, until 17–18 September.

‘PANZ Council and the organising committee … have taken the difficult decision to postpone the conference until September this year,’ PANZ said in a statement. ‘We hope that by spring we’ll be over the worst of the COVID-19 outbreak and the associated travel restrictions will have been lifted.’

PANZ added that it’s in discussion with its international guests, and that ‘happily it looks as if the September dates will work for the most of them’.

The conference, to be held at the Stamford Plaza in Auckland, is running under the theme ‘Publishing leadership: trends, people, innovation’. For more information about the conference, click here.
