Livestream event: Q&A with ILF program team
The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is hosting a livestream event this Thursday, 18 June at 6pm on the ILF Facebook page.
This is an opportunity to see and hear from members of the ILF’s program team—the team that engages with remote communities—and hear from them how the foundation’s community-led approach builds literacy and preserves language. Hear first-hand about the impact of the ILF’s programs from community leaders from Tiwi Islands and the Torres Strait Islands. Most importantly, most of the livestream will be dedicated to answering audience questions.
Featuring program director Tina Raye, program coordinator Cindy Manfong, Tiwi College assistant teacher for senior young women’s class Tic Tac, ILF board member Leitha Assan and CEO Karen Williams, with special guest moderator Shelley Ware.
