Paterson de Heer receives Writers SA Varuna Fellowship for Young Writers

Phoebe Paterson de Heer is the recipient of this year’s Writers SA Varuna Fellowship for Young Writers.

Paterson de Heer receives seven nights accommodation at Varuna, a $300 travel subsidy and a consultation with a Varuna writing expert. Paterson de Heer is deputy online editor for Archer magazine and is a previous member of the Voiceworks editorial committee. Her work has previously been published in Meanjin, Kill Your Darlings, Overland, Scum and Voiceworks, among others.

Writers SA said Paterson de Heer was chosen from ‘a competitive pool’ of South Australian writers under the age of 35. For more information about the fellowship, click here.
